Maxcon Industries is sited on a 5 hectare workshop and design complex in Ipswich, QLD. Set amongst trees and gardens, the Ipswich office building houses accounting, managerial and engineering personnel.

The factory complex has a floor area of approximately three thousand square metres. The main workshop is 20 metres wide, 110 metres long and 12 metres high.

Three overhead cranes are installed with over 7 metres to the hook. Large mobile cranes can augment the fixed cranage with 30T yard crane if necessary.

An annexe houses the lunchroom, change room, wash room, shower facilities, toilets, workshop offices, switch rooms and stores.

An additional facility houses the machine shop in which the company manufacturers ninety percent of all its machining requirements.

Maxcon Industries currently have four workshops in Thailand (Rayong Province). They each have varied specifications and capabilities to ensure that Maxcon Industries can cater to a large range of different manufacturing and fabrication needs.

The approximate floor area covered by each of the workshops differ from 720m² up to 2,520m². The width of the workshops range from 16m to 30m and the lengths range from 60m to 94m. Each workshop contains overhead cranes, all different sizes, with a total combined weight of over 150T.

These workshops are all overseen by a team of 68 staff, who are based in Thailand full-time. This ensures that Maxcon Industries can still deliver products to the highest specifications and requirements, while still maintaining a very competitive edge in the marketplace.

Maxcon's Industries' sister company, PT Aquatec Maxcon Indonesia, has now been operating for over ten years, and has a staff of over 25 people at its offices in Jakarta and Surabaya.

It has undertaken a number of design/construct projects for the water and wastewater industries including a 180 ML/d water treatment plant in Surabaya.

A number of contracts to build, own and operate water facilities for plants serving up to 500,000 people have also been completed. Furthermore, the first BOOT was commenced in Indonesia in 1993.
